I’m very proud to have been longlisted in the Fiction Factory Short Story Competition 2024 for my tale ‘The Capo’s King’. This is a meditation on freedom in which a prison guard reflects upon his relationship with an imprisoned ‘capo’ who has now escaped. Which of them is really free? Congratulations to competition winner Caileen Cachia for her story ‘Running Water’.
