I’m very proud to have been longlisted in the Fiction Factory Short Story Competition 2024 for my tale ‘The Capo’s King’. This is a meditation on freedom in which a prison guard reflects upon his relationship with an imprisoned ‘capo’ who has now escaped. Which of them is really free?
